the reading and the watchers

two sets of words

one provoking and sometimes not immediately clear. the words could be an emblem of a larger idea or notion

the other set looks like a kind of personal note, although it is not clear whose

the two sets form a speculative relationship

the words alternate with two images.

an image of a contemporary painting is combined with a drawing from the series ‘the watchers’

being placed together evokes the possibility of a connection

together the words and the images constitute this update in a deliberate setting, with the title image as an abstract contrast

stordes investigates the meaning and manifestations of organisations as works of art

an organisation carries the possibilities to see, create and explore relationships between people, ideas, practices, acting, nature,….

what is not obvious creates the space for surprising variances of these possibilities
